RELEASE NOTES:

The Drivers Daily Log program implements the requirements of the Federal

Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) PART 395 - HOURS OF SERVICE OF

DRIVERS. DDL always has the most current Federal DOT interpretations

Changes are updated as needed . It helps to produce the Driver's Record of

Duty Status - the Log Book (RODS). The program takes the power of the

computer and applies a convenient entry of duty status data, displays that

data in the "classic" Driver's Daily Log format, and prints the signature

ready log pages for submission to your motor carrier, and if necessary

DOT inspectors. DDL also implements the 'adverse conditions' provision

that allows +2 hours to driving time. DDL has the new 2005 rules as

default

DDL implements the most common intrastate rules for Florida, California

Alaska, Washington, Texas, and Illinois

The program implements the rules as defined in the 'Commercial Vehicle

Drivers Hours of Service Regulations, 1994'. The special Permits driver

regulations have not been implemented yet. The 60th Parallel driver rules

have been implemented as an option

DDL implements the most common intra-province rules for Alberta

Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory, Northwest Territory

DDL will also produces a Monthly Summary of hours worked which includes

Hours of Service Violations if any. The program implements the 11 Hour

14 Hour, Split Sleeper Berth rules, 34 Hours restart, and 60hrs/7days

and 70hrs/8days rules. These rules are used to analyze the duty status

data allowing the driver to better plan for Trips and their day

In addition, the program provides for California intrastate drivers

Alaska drivers, and the special provisions for Oil Field, Well Operations

Construction, and Utility drivers that can reset the clocks with 24

consecutive off duty hours. The program will also do Noon to Noon log

sheets

With the use of grid markers a driver can see where the 11/14 hours

S1-for 1st Sleeper (which excludes from the 14 hours), S2 for the 2nd

sleeper (which allows a driver to drive again), 10 hours breaks, so the

driver knows when the 11/14 hours clock resets, 34 hours restart, and when

60/70 hours violations will occur

DDL will also show how long the driver has been in violation, the rule

that is being violated, and which FMCSA code is being violated in the

remarks section, and can be printed on the log and grid

INSTALL NOTES:

1) Unpack, Install

2) When activation dialog appears run the keygen and copy/paste the

Installation ID

3) Run the keygen and choose the options you want and press 'Generate'

4) Go back in the Activation dialog and paste the Activation ID

(keygen already copied it to clipboard)

DDL Full allows only ProMiles and PCMiler addons

DDL I-Truck Log Audit allows every addon
